Utility Work on Hope Street
PROJECT UPDATE 7/27/26: Providence Water contractors have completed scheduled work on Hope St. and are anticipated to return at the end of August 2026 to complete final road restoration. Schedule updates and traffic impacts will be posted here once they are available.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS 7/27/26: There are currently no active Providence Water work zones on Hope St. until construction resumes tentatively at the end of August.
Providence Water crews/contractors will be working on Hope Street in Providence from Olney Street to Cypress Street.
Dates: Monday, June 29, 2026 - Friday, July 24, 2026. (Updated)
Time: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday - Friday.
During this period, you may experience:
- Temporary traffic lane closures and/or detours in the work zone
- Limited parking or no parking in affected areas
Providence Water contractors will return to this area again in August 2026 to complete final road restoration.
