Lead Testing Kits

To find out whether you need to take action in your own home, you might wish to have your drinking water tested to determine if it contains excessive concentrations of lead.  Testing the water is the only way to know for sure, because you cannot see, taste, or smell lead in drinking water.  For a $10 fee, any Providence Water customer can pick up a lead sample kit.

Lead sample kits can be picked up during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm at 125 Dupont Drive in Providence or call us at (401) 521-6303.  If lead levels are high for the first sample, Providence Water will pay for a second test.
