The quality of our treated drinking water is regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Rhode Island Department of Health. Our revenue and rate structure is regulated by the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission.

Public Outreach Meetings

At the beginning of each construction year, Providence Water Construction Managers and Contractors hold community outreach meetings to inform residents about upcoming construction projects in their neighborhoods.

On March 1st and 2nd of this year, Providence Water held community outreach meetings in the Edgewood and Blackstone neighborhoods to discuss upcoming water main rehabilitation projects in their neighborhoods.  Providence Water Project Managers, Engineers, and Contractors were onhand to give an overview of the upcoming projects.
